PRESIDENT AND AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE ON THE CELEBRATION OF THE DAY OF THE SECONDARY TOURIST SCHOOL ''NOVI BEOGRAD''

On March 1st, 2018, a formal celebration of the Day of the Secondary tourist school ''Novi Beograd'' was held. It was attended by many guests from public and cultural circles, as well as guests from Pula, Istria region and Szeged.

After the introductory speech of the school principal, Mr. Dragutin Milicic, President of the World Roma Organization and Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Jovan Damjanovic, handed a Recognition by expression of gratitude to the Secondary tourist school ''Novi Beograd'' for special engagement in education and devotion of the teaching staff, and then the Golden plaque to principal Milicic for the professional and responsible leadership of the school's team.

The celebration was attended by a legendary publicist and journalist, Mr. Drasko Acimovic, who awarded director Milicic with Recognition for the most successful school in 2017.

The drama-music programme of the students of the Secondary tourist school ''Novi Beograd'' followed, and served dishes afterwards.

PRESIDENT AND AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE AFTER A BUSINESS VISIT TO VIENNA

During his visit to Vienna, January 22nd - 26th, President of World Roma Organization and Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Jovan Damjanovic, had series of constructive discussions with representatives of the City Government, Chief Executive Office (The European and International Affairs Department), as well as the UN.

It is important to highlight that the grounds of World Roma Organization were positively accepted, and that many agreements were made.

It was Mr. Damjanovic's great pleasure to make contact with Romano Centro in Vienna, whose representatives dearly welcomed the delegation of World Roma Organization.

Mr. Damjanovic expresses great joy for future cooperation: ''Europe recognizes and aknowledges the significance of the Roma community worldwide. We, the Roma people, must interconnect, and jointly pave the way of our rights realization.'' - said the President and Ambassador for Peace, Mr. Jovan Damjanovic.

PRESIDENT AND AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE HOSTING SCHOOL CELEBRATION OF ST. SAVA'S DAY

Jovan Damjanovic, the president of World Roma Organization and Ambassador for Peace, accepted with great pleasure the invitation of the principal of secondary vocational school for tourism and catering in New Belgrade, Mr. Dragutin Milicic, to be the host of the school celebration of St. Sava, January 27th, 2018.
